An Post Open the Parcel Game Promotion

By participating in the An Post Open the Parcel Game Promotion you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

In these Terms and Conditions:

"Eligible Entrant" means a person who:

• is aged 18 years or over;
• is a resident of the Republic of Ireland;
• has a registered An Post app account;
• On iOS, has enabled Allow Tracking and accepted the Advertising & Marketing preference within the app's Cookie Preferences; and
• On Android, has accepted the Advertising & Marketing consent within the app's Cookie Preferences.
• participates in the Promotion during the Promotion Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

"Promotion" means the An Post Open the Parcel Game Promotion.

"An Post" means a registered company in Ireland under company number 98788 with its registered office at General Post Office, O'Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1.

"Promoter" means An Post.

"Promotion Period" means 31 August 2026 to 6 September 2026 inclusive.

"Prize" means one of the prizes available during the Promotion, as outlined under the title “List of Prizes” of these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility 

The Promotion is open only to Eligible Entrants.

Participation in the Promotion is free. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter.

How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, Eligible Entrants may participate in the Promotion by opening the An Post app and accessing the Open the Parcel game.

To participate, entrants must:

• be logged into their registered An Post app account; and
• select one (1) of the three (3) mystery parcels presented within the game. 

Upon selecting a mystery parcel, participants will instantly be informed if they have won a Prize.

Eligible Entrants may participate in the Promotion once per calendar day during the Promotion Period.

The game resets daily at 00:00 (midnight) Irish time.

A maximum of one (1) play per Eligible Entrant, per day is permitted.

Participants may only participate using one registered An Post app account.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant with valid reason, including those who attempt to manipulate the Promotion, use multiple accounts, or otherwise breach these Terms and Conditions.

Instant Win Mechanics & Prize Claims

Winners of each Prize are determined randomly. 

Upon selecting one (1) of the three (3) mystery parcels, participants will instantly be informed if they have won a Prize.

Once a participant has been informed that they have won a Prize, the Promoter will use the email address associated with the winner's registered An Post account to contact them within three (3) working days with details of their Prize and to request any additional information required for Prize fulfilment, including their postal address. Winners of each Prize awarded between 31 August 2026 and 5 September 2026 must provide their postal address when requested to do so or by 20 September 2026.

Once the winner's postal address has been received, the Promoter will dispatch the Prize within seven (7) working days.

If a winner fails to provide the requested postal address by 20 September 2026, the Prize will be deemed forfeited and will remain unawarded.

The winner of the two (2) Gold VIP Westlife Concert Tickets awarded on 6 September 2026 will be contacted by the Promoter via email within three (3) working days using the email address associated with their registered An Post account, with details of their Prize and any information required to facilitate the ticket transfer.

Due to Ticketmaster ticket transfer restrictions, the concert tickets cannot be transferred until the week before the event. The Promoter will transfer the tickets to the winner from 18 September 2026, subject to Ticketmaster's transfer functionality.

If the winner of the two (2) Gold VIP Westlife Concert Tickets fails to respond to the Promoter or provide the requested information by 20 September 2026, the Prize will be deemed forfeited and will remain unawarded.

List of Prizes

The following Prizes are available during the Promotion Period:

The Gold VIP Westlife Concert Ticket Prize includes:

Two (2) Gold VIP tickets to the Westlife concert taking place on Saturday, 26 September 2026;

Premium seated tickets;

• Official VIP Westlife laminate and lanyard;
• Limited Edition VIP Premium Westlife 25 Anniversary Box Set;
• Access to the merchandise collection point.

All Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and may not be sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

There is no cash alternative available for any Prize.

The Promoter will not substitute any Prize for an alternative prize or cash equivalent. The winners may not offer for sale or exchange the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Prize and Promotion if this term is not complied with. 

Prize fulfilment will be managed on behalf of the Promoter via Ticketmaster.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any Prize that is lost, delayed, damaged or not received due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or where required by law.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• is found to have breached these Terms and Conditions;
• provides false or misleading information;
• attempts to manipulate the Promotion or the game mechanics;
• uses multiple An Post app accounts; or
• otherwise seeks to gain an unfair advantage.

The Promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of the Promotion is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Prizes may not be sold, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the Promotion or the awarding of a Prize to the Promotion winners unless such loss or damage was caused by the Promoter and which is a foreseeable result of the Promoter’s breach of these terms and conditions or their negligence. Evidence of loss or damage will be required. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any statutory rights available to consumers under Irish law.

Privacy & Data Protection

An Post is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants and will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

By participating in the Promotion, participants acknowledge that the Promoter will collect and process personal information solely for the purposes of administering the Promotion.

Winners will be contacted using the email address associated with their registered An Post account. Where required for Prize fulfilment, winners will subsequently be asked to provide their full name, postal address and any other information reasonably required to fulfil their Prize.

Personal data collected in connection with the Promotion will be used solely for the administration of the Promotion and the fulfilment of Prizes. Such data will not be used for marketing purposes as a result of participating in the Promotion.

Personal data collected for the purposes of this Promotion will be retained only for as long as is necessary to administer the Promotion and fulfil Prizes. Following completion of the Promotion and Prize fulfilment, or where a Prize is forfeited, the personal data collected specifically for the Promotion will be securely deleted in accordance with the Promoter's data retention policies.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted during the prize claim process is complete and accurate. The Promoter accepts no responsibility where a Prize cannot be fulfilled due to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by a participant.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
