Paying Garda fines


Do you need to pay a Garda fixed charge offence? You can now pay your fine online or at your local post office.

Choose how you want to pay - online, at your local post office or by post - and include your fixed charge notice along with payment. We'll do the rest. 

Step by step

How do I pay my Garda fixed charge?

Call into any of our automated post offices with your fixed charge notice and pay using:

  • Cash
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Cheque, postal money order, bank draft (made payable to An Post)

You can also pay by post:

  • Use the envelope provided and enclose a cheque (made payable to Member in Charge)
  • Complete your credit or debit card details on the fixed charge notice, returning it using the envelope provided.

Please note you cannot pay your fixed charges at Garda stations.
