Business Response Terms and Conditions
- Business response items will be delivered daily, Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- The Business Response Services will operate within the Republic of Ireland only. (There is also an International Business Response Service).
- The terms and conditions under which the Business Response Services are provided are subject to the general regulations and rules of the Post Office relating to the Inland Post, as detailed in Eolaí an Phoist, the Post Office Guide, as per the Inland Post Warrant 1939 and its amendments, except that they cannot be redirected after delivery at the licensed address and if re-transmitted after such delivery, must be enclosed in covers and fresh postage paid. Business Response items may be re-directed by the Post Office under special conditions.
- The Head Postmaster will specify in the licence the precise terms of each address to which Freepost items may be posted. The address so specified, which may be in abbreviated form, must include the word Freepost.
- Every communication or advertisement inviting a Freepost reply must state the address precisely in those terms. The instruction 'no stamp required' must be included in a Freepost address every time it is advertised. This applies equally to all media e.g. press, radio, TV etc.
- When pre-printed envelopes are enclosed in a mailshot, the envelope must have 'no stamp required' printed on it in the top right-hand side where a stamp would normally appear.
- If you decide to pre-print a card or envelope with your Freepost address, you must submit a sample of your proposed printed item for approval.
- An Post accepts no liability to any person for any direct or consequential damage or injury arising from the loss of, or delay, or damage to any item posted in the Business Response Service or the Freepost Service.
- All correspondence should be sent to Dublin Mails Revenue, 4th Floor, GPO, O'Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1, D01 F5P2.

- There are some further terms and conditions in relation to the registration and exclusivity of Vanity addresses. A copy will be supplied on request
