Refurbished iPhone 14 Competition Terms & Conditions

 “Eligible Entrant” means a person who, during the Promotion Period, follows @anpostofficial, likes the competition post and tags a friend in the comments of the competition post on either the An Post Facebook page or the An Post Instagram page.

 “Promotion” means the An Post Mobile Refurbished iPhone 14 Competition.
 
 “An Post” means a registered company in Ireland under number 98788 with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1.
 
 “Promoter” means An Post.
 
 “Promotion Period” means 16 July 2026 to 9 August 2026 inclusive.
 
 “Prize” means one (1) Refurbished Apple iPhone 14 with a retail value of €479.95.
 
This Promotion consists of the Promoter giving away the Prize to one Eligible Entrant. Entry into the Promotion is automatic when an Eligible Entrant follows @anpostofficial, likes the competition post and tags a friend in the comments during the Promotion Period.
 
Entrants must be over 18 years old and residents of the Republic of Ireland on the date of entry to this Promotion.
 
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Promotion, shall not be Eligible Entrants.
 
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta or any other social media platform used to promote the competition.
 
Each valid comment on either the An Post Facebook competition post or the An Post Instagram competition post will be treated as one entry into the Promotion.

Multiple comments will result in multiple entries.

Entries submitted via Facebook and Instagram will be combined into a single prize draw and only one winner will be selected.

This Promotion will run from 16 July 2026 to 9 August 2026. The closing date for entries to the Promotion is 9 August 2026 at 11:59pm. This time and date is final. Any entries received after this time will not be accepted for this Promotion.
 
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion with valid reason.
 
There will be no cash alternative for the Prize.
 
By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that the name and/or social media username of the winner may be displayed on the Promoter's social media pages following the conclusion of the Promotion. The winner of the Prize is deemed to have consented to the publication of their name and/or social media username by participating in the Promotion.
 
The Promotion winner may be requested to take part in Promotion activities and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the winner's name, photograph and details of the Prize awarded. No remuneration will be associated with this activity.
 
The winner of this Promotion will be selected at random.
 
The winner of the Promotion will be chosen at random after the Promotion Period ends. The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used to enter the Promotion within 14 days of the closing date.
 
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not claim the Prize within 14 days of notification, or fails to provide a valid postal address in the Republic of Ireland for delivery of the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and select an alternative winner.

The Promoter’s decision in relation to the random selection of the Promotion winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this selection.
 
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant with valid reason.
 
In the event of circumstances beyond its control the Promoter may cancel the Promotion.
 
The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the Promotion or the awarding of the Prize to the Promotion winner unless such loss or damage was caused by the Promoter and which is a foreseeable result of the Promoter’s breach of these terms and conditions or their negligence. Evidence of loss or damage will be required. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under Irish law.
 
By entering the Promotion Eligible Entrants are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Any breach of these terms and conditions will result in disqualification.
 
The winner may not offer for sale or exchange the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Prize and Promotion if this term is not complied with.
 
All information provided is correct at the time of going live but may be subject to change by the Promoter if necessary for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
 
An Post is careful to treat the privacy of its customers with care and due regard to the laws of Ireland. The information, including personal data, submitted in connection with this Promotion will be used by An Post solely for the purposes of administering the Promotion and awarding the Prize. This information will not be used for any other purpose unless otherwise requested by you. An Post will handle any personal data in accordance with the An Post Privacy Policy. All personal information supplied will be used by An Post in accordance with Data Protection Laws and Regulations for the purposes of this Promotion only.
 
Governing Law - These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
