Don’t worry if you can’t get to the post office to collect your pension or any other social welfare payment. Special measures to help fight Covid-19 mean you can now allow somebody else, known as a temporary agent, to collect it. Post offices will hold selected payments for you for 90 days. All post offices will designate the hours of 9am-11am on Pension Friday payment days for vulnerable and at risk customers.
