Product and Proposition Manager An Post Mobile

Job Purpose

Reporting to the General Manager, the Product & Proposition Manager is tasked with growing the consumer base through the creation and delivery of insight led, commercially robust consumer propositions for the prepay segment. Operating as part of the wider Retail business, you will work closely and collaboratively with support functions in realising your commercial vision – these include retail marketing, network sales, digital and Ops.  

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver a roadmap of tactical and strategic offerings to realise the customer base and revenue targets for the year. Monitor and review the performance against KPIs, preparing commercially robust and operationally viable recovery plans to address gaps if and when they arise.

  • Be the voice of the customer within the organisation. Stay close to all available insights inc. customer motivations, barriers and behaviours so as to accurately champion customer led decision making in the design & delivery of propositions.

  • Be the subject matter expert on mobile and the nuances of the competitor landscape, preparing and sharing regular market reviews and recommendations with the senior management team

  • Work closely with support functions to optimise campaigns through ATL & BTL channels. Working with the CRM team, deliver base management programmes to realise base targets.  

  • Oversee the retail logistical elements of the business plan to ensure all elements are functioning as planned.

  • Manage relationship and performance of Customer Service to ensure service levels achieved and any issues efficiently addressed.

  • Ensure the An Post Mobile service and website is compliant with all ComReg, national and EU regulations and keep on top of mobile industry best practice.

Knowledge and Experience

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, commercially adept individual with at least 3 years’ TelCo experience developing and delivering propositions. 
 
A broad knowledge or understanding of website management, functionality and control is an advantage. A knowledge or understanding of marketing and social media campaigns and omni channel environments is key.

  • Proven track record developing and delivering propositions in a TelCo environment. 

  • The ability to excel and lead in a dynamic and fast paced environment

  • The ability to communicate and work effectively and efficiently with the wider business while ascertaining the key impact/detail behind the issue/request

  • Very high attention to detail and maintain quality in everything

  • Strong commercial acumen
