Tasty new stamps celebrate Irish Breakfasts

An Post has unveiled four new stamps celebrating the most important meal of the day – Breakfast!   The new stamps also support the Irish tourism and hospitality sector’s world-renowned reputation for giving tourists a warm Irish welcome and serving delicious food.

Designed by Irish illustrator Ailbhe Phelan, the Irish Breakfasts stamps are sure to get everyone thinking about their next break away and whetting the appetite for tasty hotel, B&B and café breakfasts.  They feature a range of delicious Irish breakfast options including: a colourful fresh fruit smoothie; a twist on the continental option with Irish soda bread, jam and honey; a comforting bowl of porridge with seasonal fruits and of course, the iconic ‘Full Irish’, sure to keep you going all day.

The stamp set comprising two National stamps (€1.25 each) for standard letters within the island of Ireland and two Worldwide stamps (€2.20 each) for standard letters travelling across the globe, are available at main Post Offices and online at anpost.com/shop (with free delivery).
