Update on  international letters and parcels between Ireland and mainland Europe.

An Post advises customers that due to current situation and backlog of freight trucks at English Channel ports in the UK,  and issues with some flights from the UK to the European mainland, delays to letters and parcels posted from Ireland to mainland Europe should be expected.  An Post will be liaising with postal companies and carriers in the UK and across Europe  throughout the Christmas and New Year period to ensure best possible level of service.     Ireland to UK services continue to operate as normal for letters and parcels, albeit within the current Covid restrictions.
