Oracle says 'An Post you're a winner'

An Post won the award for Innovation in Analytics through their use of the Oracle Analytics Cloud platform and An Post’s own Customer ExperienceManagement (CXM) portal. The portal allows corporate customers like Amazon, Sky TV and the Inditex Group (whose brands include Massimo Dutti, Zara, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Oysho, Stradivarius) to view their parcel traffic on An Post’s data visualisation cloud service.
This data visualisation tool is being rolled out to more of An Post’s customers in the coming months.
The award will be made at a ceremony in San Francisco in October 2018 at Oracle Open World with an attendance of 60,000 present.
John Cronin, An Post’s Group CIO said, ‘ We have been on quite a journey at An Post in recent years transforming our business, mail, parcels and retail, through business intelligence and big data as we move from a physical to a digital world’.
