An Post unveils Christmas Stamps with largest-ever discounts

4 November 2025

An Post has unveiled the 2025 Christmas Stamps, a blaze of cheerful geometric designs featuring a Christmas Pudding, a reindeer, the Three Wise Men, a church, an Angel and a Christmas Tree from Irish Designers, Unthink.
Customers can avail of the largest-ever discounts on Christmas stamp booklets this year:

  • A booklet of 15 national stamps for posting within the island of Ireland is priced €20, a saving of €4.75.    The 5-stamp pack of stamps for posting cards anywhere in the world costs €13.25, and customers can save €8 by purchasing both booklets together for just €30.00 at all post offices and online at anpost.com/Christmas.
  • A pack of 15 Christmas cards by Irish designer Hyphee may be purchased for €10 with every 15-stamp booklet.    Discounts are also available on Digital stamps this Christmas, with a bundle of 15 discounted to €27.75, a saving of €5.55 through the An Post app.
“We’re giving customers the largest-ever discounts this year, and reminding them to please Shop Early, Write Early and Post Early for Christmas”, says a spokesperson for An Post.
“We have to be prepared for what impact bad weather and huge volumes might have on delivery times in Ireland and across the globe over the coming weeks, so we advise customers to get shopping and sending as early as possible.   Getting organised early also means having time to enjoy the great Irish tradition of settling down to write the cards to family and friends, reflecting on the past year and what we wish for our loved ones in 2026”, she added.

Once again this Christmas, An Post is also providing FREE postage for mail posted to residents of nursing homes and care homes.    ‘We know how much this means to the residents and their families and friends, and that often local groups take the opportunity to send cards to residents who may be without family at this time of year.  It’s a very special aspect of Christmas that we are proud to support”, she concluded.
