Transforming Deliveries in Dublin West
From 21 September, An Post is enhancing delivery services across Dublin West. To support growing mail and parcel volumes driven by increasing e-commerce demand, deliveries will now operate from our new Dublin West Delivery Hub in Grange Castle.
The new hub will serve customers across Dublin 24, Dublin 22 and surrounding areas, including Tallaght, Rathcoole, Saggart, Brittas, Clondalkin, Fonthill and Lucan. As part of these improvements, An Post is introducing additional Delivery Operatives and new delivery routes to support growing residential and business communities throughout the area.
What can customers expect?
From 21 September, deliveries in the area will operate from the new Dublin West Delivery Hub.
Once the changes are fully in place, customers can expect an improved letter and parcel delivery service.
Delivery times may vary slightly from those customers are currently used to as new delivery routes are introduced. We aim to deliver your item first time.
If we are unable to make a delivery, we will leave a "Sorry We Missed You" card informing you where your item can be collected.
Collection points will be selected based on the location closest to your address. Depending on your area, this will be either the Dublin West Delivery Hub or a local Post Office.
The easiest way to avoid missing a delivery is to download the An Post App and set a Safe Spot. This allows your post person to leave eligible items in a secure location at your home when you're not there to receive them.
Customers with PO Boxes who are affected by the move will be contacted directly with further information.
An Post will continue to invest in additional parcel locker locations across the area, giving customers even more convenient ways to collect their parcels.
Dublin West Delivery Hub Opening Hours
