Customs changes from 1 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, a minimum €3 customs duty charge may apply to online purchases values at €150 or less coming from outside the EU (including Great Britain). This €3 charge can apply to each line item in your parcel. This charge is set by EU Commission and is collected by An Post on behalf of Irish Revenue.

Pay a Customs Charge

Irish Revenue have applied a Customs Charge to your An Post delivery. This must be paid within 10 working days. An Post may apply a fee to handle, collect and process the item. Where applicable, this fee will be added to customs charges applied by Revenue.
