News from An Post: Snow disruption

Heavy localised snowfall is causing us major difficulties is some parts of the country, most particularly across Cavan, Leitrim, Monaghan, Westmeath and areas served by delivery depots in Dublin 18,  Glenageary and Blackrock, Co Dublin. 

An Post will make every effort to deliver letters and parcels to customers as quickly as possible where it is safe for staff to do so and,  where possible, arranging deliveries tomorrow (Saturday) in affected areas.   
 
We are hopeful that the snow will shortly be replaced by rain, but icy roads may then be an issue as temperatures drop.
