New Holiday Stamps
An Post has produced two stamps showing the Cliffs of Moher, Co Clare and Ross Castle, Co Kerry as Ireland's contribution to the 2004 Europa stamp, which European Postal administrations have agreed should have 'Holidays' as its theme.
The Irish stamps, denominated at 48c and 65c, were designed by Q Design and feature two stunning images of the Cliffs (65c) and Ross Castle. They went on sale at main post offices throughout the country on May 11.
Both stamps, with accompanying First Day Cover are available also from the Philatelic Bureau at the GPO, Dublin 1 or online through www.irishstamps.ie.
