The An Post Money Currency Card UEFA Champions League 2026/2027 League Phase Match Tickets Promotion Terms and Conditions

In these terms and conditions:
“
An Post” means a registered company in Ireland under number 98788 with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1.
“
An Post Money Currency Card” means the prepaid Mastercard® from An Post that allows you to purchase and top up 15 currencies on a single card.
“
Mastercard” means Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Ltd, the programme manager, with a registered address at Access House, Cygnet Road, Hampton, Peterborough, England, PE7 8FJ.
“
Prize” means one (1) of 3 x two-night packages to attend a UEFA Champions League Phase Match available for two people (18+) including:
- Return transfers between one Irish home address and designated Irish airport
- Return economy flights between Ireland and UK/European destination
- Two (2) night, 4* hotel accommodation including breakfast
- Return transfers between destination airport and accommodation
- Two (2) x Category 1 tickets to UCL League Phase Match in 2026/27
“
Prize Fulfilment Agency” or “
The Big Group Ltd” means The Big Group Ltd, with a registered address at The George Building, Nicholas Road, Notting Dale, London, England, W11AN.
“
Promoter” means An Post.
“
Promotion” means The An Post Money Currency Card UEFA Champions League 2026/2027 League Phase Match Promotion.
“
Submission” is your entry on the An Post Promotion website, with your name, registered email address, answer to the question and completion of the tie breaker, in 500 words or less, of why you should win the Prize.
1. This Promotion is open to eligible An Post Money Currency Card customers who are eighteen (18) years of age and over who satisfy the Qualification Criteria set out below, except employees of An Post, Mastercard and Big Group Ltd or family members of such employees, directors, officers, or agents of An Post, Mastercard or Big Group Ltd. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity and age, verifiable by birth certificate, passport or driving licence only.
2. To be eligible to enter this Promotion An Post Money Currency Card customers must satisfy the following Qualification Criteria (“
Qualification Criteria”):
i. Load at least €250 in foreign currency on to their An Post Money Currency Card between 1st July 2026 and 10th September 2026
ii. Enter a Submission by completing an entry form on the An Post website at
anpost.com/footballcompetitioniii. Confirm their name and email address registered for their An Post Money Currency Card;
iv. Answer the question, “Which city will host the 2027 UEFA Champions League final?”

v. Complete the tie-breaker in 500 words or less:
I deserve to win tickets to the UEFA Champions League, courtesy of Mastercard because…”
3. An Post Money Currency Card customers who satisfy the Qualification Criteria by loading the required funds to their An Post Money Currency Card and entering a Submission will be deemed to be valid entrants to the Promotion.
4. A panel of judges will adjudicate on each Submission on 14th September 2026. The panel will select three (3) Submissions from all valid entries received that, in the opinion of the judges, are the best and most original Submissions. Those entrants will be deemed to be the Prize winners.
5. The Prize winners’ name and email address will be passed by the Promoter to Mastercard for verification that they have loaded €250 in foreign currency on to their An Post Money Currency Card between [1 July 2026 and 11 September 2026];
6. The Prize winners will be notified by phone or email by the Prize Fulfilment Agency within 7 days of their Submissions being adjudicated upon and Qualification Criteria being verified. The Prize Fulfilment Agency will use reasonable endeavours to contact the Prize winners using the contact details provided.
7. The Prize winners will have 5 working days from receipt of the winning notification to:
- Confirm in writing that they accept the conditions of the Prize;
- Confirm they wish to accept the Prize. Failure to respond in time will result in the Prize being forfeited;
- Confirm they acknowledge that their details will be passed onto Mastercard and the Prize Fulfilment Agency for the purposes of Prize fulfilment only;
- Confirm themselves and their nominated guest have a valid passport (with at least 6 months’ validity remaining after return).
8. If the first selected Prize winners are unavailable or fail to acknowledge the Prize win, or if they are found not to have loaded €250 in foreign currency to their An Post Money Currency Card between 1st July 2026 and 10th September 2026, the Promoter may select another Submission(s) to be adjudicated upon by the judges.
9. The Promoter’s decision in relation to the adjudication of the Submissions is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this selection.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to declare the Promotion void if it considers it unreasonable that the Promotion should proceed, whether due to an administrative error or otherwise.
11. The Prize Winners and each of their guests must be aged 18 or over.
12.The Prize is only valid for League Phase Matches in the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League. The draw for the 2026/27 League Phase games will take place in August 2026. The prize winners will be able to select their preferred League Phase match, subject to ticket availability at the time of selection. The winner must confirm their chosen match within the timeframe communicated after winner notification. Details on how to book will be provided once the winner has been selected.
13. UEFA Champions League tickets are divided into categories based on location within the stadium, with higher categories (CAT1) providing better views closer to the pitch, whilst lower categories (CAT2 and CAT3) are further away or higher up. The location of all seats varies from stadium to stadium.
14. All ticket requests are reviewed by UEFA closer to the ticket deadline. Depending on the scale of requests received and the demand for the chosen match, UEFA may move the allocated tickets from CAT1 to CAT2/CAT3. This means the Prize winners may receive CAT2/CAT3 tickets.
15. It is not possible for the Prize winners to move a ticket request from one match to another after the ticket deadline.
16. The Prize is personal to the winners and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any element of the Prize is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Prize if this term is not complied with.
17. The Prize winners and their nominated guests must have a valid passport (with at least 6 months’ validity remaining after return) and must satisfy any special visa requirements that may apply. Passports and visas are the responsibility of the Prize winners. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the Prize winners or nominated guests fail to obtain the required travel documentation.
18. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for accommodation or transport being unavailable, withdrawn or amended. In the event of this the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to find a suitable alternative.
19. All travel, accommodation and other services provided to the Prize winners and their guests will be provided subject to the terms and conditions of each such provider. The Promoter will not have any liability in relation thereto unless such loss or damage was caused by the Promoter and is a foreseeable result of the Promoter’s breach of these terms and conditions or their negligence. Any dispute arising from travel, accommodation and/or other services must be taken up with such provider.
20. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and there is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of any Prize.
21. Any amendments requested by the Prize winners after the booking is confirmed may be agreed by and be subject to administration charges levied by the Prize Fulfilment Agency.
22. All elements of the Prize must be completed within the timeframe stated in these terms and conditions. Extensions will not be allowed unless first authorised by the Promoter. The Prize winners and their guests are responsible for and must comply with any travel insurance / health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the Prize winners and their guests where applicable.
23. The Promoter may, with valid reason, award the Prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original Prize winners or dispose of the Prize with valid reason. Prize winners and their guests acknowledge and agree that they are subject to the terms and conditions of the tickets and venue, presented by UEFA. Those terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time and may include the requirement for Prize winners who are ticket holders to present valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) and/or other forms of identification (such as a debit or credit card) upon entry to the event to ensure that the ticket holder is the same as the person named on their ticket. Failure to comply with any of the ticket terms and conditions may result in refused entry, or the Prize winners who are ticket holders being required to leave the event. Each applicable venue reserves the right to remove any person or refuse any person entry the venue regardless of whether or not they have a valid ticket. If a ticket is declared void or if a Prize winner who is a ticket holder is refused admission or removed from an event because of a breach of the ticket terms and conditions or breach of the venue terms and conditions, no costs shall be refunded.
24. The Prize winners may be required to take part in promotional activities, and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the entry, name, photograph and value of prize paid to the Prize winners. No remuneration will be associated with this activity.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any applicant or to amend these terms and conditions with valid reason. If there are any changes to these terms and conditions, entrants will be notified.
26. Details provided by entrants as part of this Promotion will be retained by the Promoter for the purpose of administering this Promotion. This information will not be used or retained for any other purpose unless otherwise requested by entrants.
27. All information provided is correct at the time of going live but may be subject to change by the Promoter if necessary for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
Personal data may be passed on to selected third parties only insofar as required for verification, fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the Prize. The Prize winner’s personal data (name and contact details) will be shared for these purposes with Mastercard. Your information is treated safely and securely by Mastercard, where applicable, with the provisions of relevant legislation including the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Promoter processes your data in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and will retain the same for no longer than three months after the Prize is fulfilled. Limitations on liability
By participating in the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter, Mastercard and the Prize fulfilment Agency accept no responsibility for loss, damage suffered by you arising from this Promotion unless such loss or damage was caused by the Promoter, Mastercard or the Prize fulfilment Agency and which is a foreseeable result of their breach of these terms and conditions or their negligence. Evidence of loss or damage will be required.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any applicant with valid reason. In the event of circumstances beyond its control, to cancel the Promotion at any stage.
Neither the Promoter or its affiliates are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to the Promotion.
Governing Law - This agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
