The An Post Money Current Account Paris 2023 Terms and Conditions
Definitions
“An Post” means a registered company in Ireland under number 98788 with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1. An Post acts as the data controller for the purposes of this Promotion.
“An Post Money Current Account” means the Mastercard® current account from An Post.
“Mastercard” means Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Ltd, the programme manager, with a registered address at Access House, Cygnet Road, Hampton, Peterborough, PE78FJ, UK.
“Promoter” means An Post, with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1, a registered company in Ireland under number 98788.
“Promotion” means The An Post Money Current Account Mastercard promotion to win a trip to Paris.
“Prize” means:
- Return transfers between one Irish address and airport
- Return flights between Ireland and Paris
- Return transfers between Paris airport and hotel
- Three nights 4* accommodation and breakfast
- 3 x experiences to the value of €1,500
Promotion Process
This Promotion is promoted by An Post but will be managed by Mastercard. All transaction data is held by Mastercard and winner will be selected by Mastercard.
Terms and Conditions
One prize winner (the Winner), and a reserve list will be drawn at random from the valid entries received. The Winners will be notified of their prize (the Prize) by An Post by phone by the 30th November 2023.
The Winner will have 10 working days to accept the Prize in writing to An Post via post or email. If the Winner does not accept the Prize, then it will be offered to entrants in the order they were drawn (and, if accepting the Prize, they will be the Winner for the purpose of the remaining Terms and Conditions).
The winner will have 10 working days from receipt of the winning notification to:
- Confirm they accept the conditions of the Prize
- Confirm they wish to accept the Prize. Failure to respond in time will result in the prize being forfeited.
- Confirm they acknowledge that their details will be passed onto The Big Group Limited for the purposes of prize fulfilment only
The Promoter’s decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw. The Promoter reserves the right to declare the draw void if it considers it unreasonable that the draw should proceed, whether due to an administrative error or otherwise.
The Winner and their guest must be aged 18 or over.
Flights, accommodation, and experience are subject to availability.
Testing and abiding destination rules are the responsibility of the winner.
Prizes are valid until 31st December 2024 excluding Christmas, Easter and all Irish Bank Holidays.
A pre-approved budget will be set for all experiences. Any overspend is responsibility of the winner.
The Prize package is personal to the Winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the Prize package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel tickets and withdraw or make void any and all Prize elements if this term is not complied with.
The winner and their nominated guest must have a valid passport (with at least 6 months’ validity remaining after return) and must satisfy any special visa requirements that may apply. Passports and visas are the responsibility and cost of the winner. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the winner or nominated guest fail to obtain the required travel documentation.
Winner must provide their choice of dates 6 weeks prior to their travel dates. Details on how to book will be given to the winner once selected.
The Promoter will not accept responsibility for accommodation or transport being unavailable, withdrawn or amended. In the event of this the Promoter will endeavour to find a suitable alternative.
All travel, accommodation and other services provided to the Winner and their guest will be provided subject to the terms and conditions of each such provider. The Promoter will not have any liability in relation thereto, and any dispute arising from travel, accommodation and/or other services must be taken up with such provider.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and there is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of any Prize.
Personal data may be passed on to selected third parties only insofar as required for fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the Prize. Personal data will be shared for these purposes with Mastercard and The Big Group Limited (Agency). The Big Group Ltd process your data in accordance with our privacy policy and will retain the same for no longer than three months after the prize is fulfilled. When in contact with The Big Group Ltd, the Winner will need to communicate via email and phone.
All travel must be completed within the timeframe stated in these Terms and Conditions. Extensions will not be allowed unless first authorised by the Promoter. The Prize winner and their guest are responsible for and must comply with any travel insurance / health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the winner and their party (where applicable).
Any amendments requested by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be agreed by and be subject to administration charges levied by The Big Group Limited.
The Promoter may at its absolute discretion award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original winner or dispose of the prize at its discretion without liability to the winner. Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by The Big Group Limited.
There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
Data Protection: Mastercard, in its capacity as the administrator of the Promotion, will further process customers’ personal data or pass data on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the Prize. Your information is treated safely and securely by Mastercard and in accordance, where applicable, with the provisions of relevant legislation including the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Opt out – if you wish to opt out of the Promotion, please email prepaidmgmt_legal@mastercard.com from your registered email address with your name and last four digits of your card number. You will be removed from the draw.
