The An Post Travel Voucher Promotion 2023 Terms and Conditions -  

Definitions

“An Post” means a registered company in Ireland under number 98788 with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1.  
“Budget Travel” means a registered company in Ireland under number xxxx with a registered address at 29 Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1, Ireland.  
“Western Union” means the international money transfer service with a registered address at Western Union Payment Services Ireland Limited, Unit 9, Richview Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, Ireland
“Promoter” means An Post, with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1, a registered company in Ireland under number 98788.
“Promotion” means The An Post Flights Promotion 2023 administered by An Post.
“Prize” means 5 x €1,000 Budget Travel vouchers to be supplied to Winners by An Post. Budget Travel Terms & Conditions apply; the travel vouchers are valid for 5 years from date of issue and are non-transferable or refundable.

Promotion Process
This Promotion is promoted and managed by An Post, and 5 (five) winners will be selected by An Post.

Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is promoted and administered by An Post. .  

2. The Promotion is governed by these terms and conditions.

3. The Promotion is open only to Western Union customers who have transacted through an An Post agent location and who are aged eighteen (18) years or over.

4. Employees of An Post and Western Union are not eligible to enter.

5. Entrants will be automatically entered into the Promotion when they send money via Western Union through any An Post Office between 1^st and the 31^st August 2023.  Western Union is the data controller in relation to your personal data for purposes of your money transfer, and An Post is the data processor.  For more information about how Western Union processes your personal data, please see the Western Union Global Privacy Statement: https://www.westernunion.com/global/en/privacy-statement.html  For purposes of administering this draw, An Post may use your name and mobile number solely for purposes of contacting winners of the Promotion.

6. Entries must be made between the 1^st August 2023 and the 31^st August 2023 (the “Promotion Period”).

7. The winner(s) will be chosen by the Promoter at random from eligible entries by 20^th September 2023 and the Promoter will notify the winner(s) by 31st September 2023 by phone call to the mobile number provided by the entrant on the Western Union transfer form completed in the Post Office.

8. The winner(s) will be required to:

   1. accept the Prize when they receive phone call from the Promoter.

   2. provide details of their postal address for the purposes of sending the Prize to the winner.

9. Failure to comply with condition 8 will result in the Prize being forfeited. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion award the Prize to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original winner(s) or dispose of the Prize at its discretion without liability to the winner(s).

10. By accepting the Prize the winner agrees to be bound by the Budget Travel terms and conditions that are applicable to the Prize, such as the voucher is valid for 5 years and non-transferable or refundable.

11. The announcement of the winner(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. No cash or other alternative to the Prize is offered or refund for unused portions of the Prize.

13. The Promoter and their respective designees and assigns, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrants for any liability, loss, injury, claim, or damage to themselves or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, to entrants or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a Prize (including any travel or Prize activity related thereto) or participation in this Promotion.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify or cancel this Promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, for whatever reason, and without liability to any entrants for doing so.

15. The Prize is personal to the winner(s) and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of the Prize is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Prize and withdraw or make void any and all Prize elements if this term is not complied with.

16. It is a condition of entry that the winner(s) agree to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the Promotion without further recompense.

17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.

18. The Promotion is subject to the laws of Ireland and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
     

Opt out – if you wish to opt out of the Promotion, please email augustpromo@anpost.ie, with your name and mobile number you provided on the Western Union transfer form at the time of transfer in the Post Office. You will then be removed from the draw.
