Pair of national stamps - Phase II

These two self-adhesive national stamps feature a Derrynaflan Paten which dates from the late eighth or early ninth century.

Housed in the National Museum of Ireland, it is one of a selection of objects that form part of our ninth definitive stamp series, A History of Ireland in 100 Objects. It was issued during Phase II of the series.
