Drawn from the old Irish melody Londonderry Air, Danny Boy was set to lyrics by Frederic Weatherly in 1913. Legendary Irish tenor Count John McCormack, who features on the stamp, is among those to have performed one of the most recorded songs of all time.
Lyrics from the song feature over an image of the world-famous tenor on one of four special edition stamps issued as part of the Great Irish Songs series.
