EUROPA: 1956-2026 - National Stamp

Over seven decades, the EUROPA stamp project has united postal administrations across Europe. The project has inspired postal operators to celebrate Europe’s rich cultural heritage with a series of stamps representing the values that we share.

In response to PostEurop’s issue commemorating the 70th anniversary of Europa stamps, An Post created a special commemorative stamp.

The bright, sometimes overlapping dots show the colours of the flags of Europe. Their playful contrast captures the joy of different bodies working together to help to make the world a better place.
