Sustainability Project Executive
Function: An Post Commerce – Sustainability & Facilities Management
What’s the Job?
You will be working with an award winning team which, over the last number of years, worked to build a more sustainable business, from operating the largest electric fleet and becoming the first postal service in the world to attain zero emission delivery status in all major cities.
Key Areas of Focus
You will support An Posts commitments outlined in our annual Sustainability Plan, including:

Reduction in energy usage across our portfolio of 160 properties to achieve our net zero carbon emissions from our own operations by 2030, with a 50% reduction by 2025

Ensuring our ecological footprint is as small as possible through the 5 ambitions in our biodiversity strategy, for example restoration of biodiversity within An Post land and property portfolio to 1984 levels by 2030;

Growing our capability to move up the ‘circular economy value chain’ across our property, transport and operations and maximizing the use and reuse of materials
Who Are We Looking For?
You will have a Degree in Environmental/Sustainability or similar.
What To Expect?
Based in Dublin, you will be part of a team of up to 16 Graduates recruited in An Post in 2023. While on the programme together, you will be based in separate parts of the organisation with distinct projects to work on.
