Function: An Post Retail – Financial Services
What’s the Job?
We already manage more cash than any other organisation in Ireland and seek to diversify and grow our financial and retail services while providing a trusted gateway to government services for our customers, both online and in person. We aim to re-invent the post office network so every town and major village in Ireland has a modern post office, providing the financial technology services our customers need in a cashless society.
Key Areas of Focus
Supporting the growth of our Financial Services and products, the role will focus on the following 3 areas.

Supporting the development and implementation of ‘Green Banking’ Products & Processes.

Consolidate Financial Services Product Analytics: Support Product Managers leveraging available performance and financial metrics from across the business for all Financial Services Products. This will facilitate consistent product benchmarking and sales forecasting.

Working on the development of new Financial Services Products
You will work closely with the Digital Team and Marketing Team to ensure utilization of all available data to progress with project/strategic goals.
Who Are We Looking For?
Someone looking to get exposure and gain experience in Financial Services Product development and delivery in a growing Financial Services team. While an educational background in Data/Business Development fields is preferred, ideally you will have an educational background relative to Business Development, Continuous Improvement Methodology, Data Analytics or Project Management.
What To Expect?
Based in Dublin, you will be part of a team of up to 16 Graduates recruited in An Post in 2023. While on the programme together, you will be based in separate parts of the organisation with distinct projects to work on.
