Function: An Post Commerce – Engineering
What’s the Job?
The Engineering department of An Post are tasked with delivering best-in-class automated processing solutions to ensure we meet our customers’ demand efficiently. Working as part of the team you will be working on designing and implementing our new vision for a high capacity parcels processing hub.
Key Areas of Focus

Processing Centre Design - participate in design of the new National Processing Centre including building features, sustainability, road network, product flows, automation solution etc.

Project Planning – assist in the planning of the various critical tasks required to achieve such a significant and complex project

New Technology Research – conduct value engineering and suitability analyses of new technologies such as robotics and guided vehicles
Who Are We Looking For?
You will have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical or Electronic or similar). Design engineering, process engineering, analytical skills and project management skills are beneficial for this role.
What To Expect?
Based in Dublin 12, you will be part of a team of up to 16 Graduates recruited in An Post in 2023. While on the programme together, you will be based in separate parts of the organisation with distinct projects to work on.
