Temporary Clerical Positions Dublin


An Post is currently establishing a panel to fill temporary clerical positions in Dublin, including immediate and temporary summer positions.

About these roles:


The work, based in the GPO and at other Dublin locations, will involve a range of clerical, administrative and customer support duties with the following An Post teams:
 
  • Customer Services
  • Central Operations
  • Corporate Centre
  • Retail Offices
Attendance on full time contracts is for 37.5 hours per week over five days with a range of starting and finishing times from 7.30am to 8.00pm.


Rate of Pay: €460.42 per week

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Ideally candidates will:
  • have clerical support or customer service experience or retail experience
  • be enthusiastic and committed individuals with good organisational skills
  • be flexible, efficient and effective in their work practices
  • have good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • demonstrate their ability to pay attention to detail
  • be comfortable working as part of a team
  • have PC skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

The competitive selection process for this panel will include comprehensive shortlisting, online aptitude testing for those shortlisted, interview and pre-employment clearances.
