Project Manager, Mortgages
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
Reporting to An Post’s Money Finance Programme Manager, the Project Manager, Mortgages will be responsible for planning and delivering transformational change within the Mortgages programme. They will liaise with the Mortgages product owner and co-ordinate planning activities across the project while managing stakeholders in reporting progress on the overall workstream. An important part of this role will be leading and developing a mix of analysts and subject matter experts to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities associated with the role include, but are not limited to:

Planning, defining and delivering the Business workstream activities for the An Post Mortgages project.

Ensuring all stakeholder requirements are collated and project requirements are finalised.

Governing workstream activities including RAID management, reporting and chairing the Business Workstream Working Group.

Leading and driving the Org Model change.

Reviewing Business process and controls to support the business workstream.

Implementing Business Acceptance Testing Management - including test prep, execution and reporting.

Leading Business Readiness activities including, training and support model development.

Supporting the implementation of the project.

Ensuring all risk and compliance deliverables are achieved.
Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience leading and delivering complex E2E business change projects or components of larger programmes. A professional project management qualification (e.g. MSP, Prince II) is desirable.
You will have a solid understanding of the Financial Services industry with experience in mortgages being a distinct advantage. You are an effective communicator with excellent influencing and negotiation skills as well as an enthusiastic and ambitious self-starter approach with a strong client delivery focus.
