HR Target Operating Model Team Lead and HRMS Project Support (CM1) Fixed Term 18 months

Role Purpose:

An Post has undergone a significant transformation over the last number of years, taking bold strategic moves to ensure we continue to deliver as a sustainable, profitable business in the digital world.  In support of the business strategy, Human Resources has set about its own transformation. A best-in-class HR Management System (HRMS) has been identified and we are now in our project mobilisation phase. We are also in the process of defining a best in class HR Target Operating Model (TOM) that will ensure the future success of the business and deliver on the talent and people agenda.
 
Reporting to the HRMS Programme Change Manager, you will lead the implementation of our new HR Target Operating Model and support the HR Management System Project Team as required.

Responsibilities:

The principal responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
  1. Lead the development and implementation of a best-in-class operating model for the HR function in accordance with design principles.
  2. Build strong stakeholder relationships within the HRMS implementation project team and with managers and employees right across the business.
  3. Working closely with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to deliver transformation priorities and work towards the realisation of the HR vision and Programme objectives.
  4. Understanding ambitions to deliver excellent internal customer experience and employee experience journeys; including these as a key consideration in the operating model development.
  5. Work closely with the HRMS programme Business Readiness Manager in a co-ordinated approach to implementing the TOM with the HRMS programme milestones.
  6.  Support the HR Management System Project Leads throughout the implementation process.
  7. Support Change Management efforts in areas such as communications, stakeholder management, training etc.
  8. Support the development of process maps, procedures, guidelines, and documentation as needed.
  9. Creating plans and reporting on progress.
  10. Ensuring adherence to the An Post governance requirements.
  11. Advocating and actively demonstrating An Post core values and behaviours.

Knowledge

You will have:
  • (5+ years) leading a HR Shared Services Team with a tiered HR service delivery model.
  • Knowledge of implementing and working on HR Cloud Systems.
  • A third level qualification in a HR or business related field is desirable.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge and in-depth hands-on experience of HR Operational Models.
  • Experience and knowledge of HR Helpdesks and Service Management.
  • Specific demonstrated results in the areas of process efficiency and improvement.
  • Outstanding skills in Stakeholder Management.
  • Outstanding skills in Employee Experience.
  • Project Support Experience.
  • Process Mapping.
