Clerks – Dublin Retail Offices- Temporary
An Post is currently establishing a panel to fill temporary Summer positions in our Dublin Retail Offices.
The Job
Reporting to the Branch Manager successful candidates will work as part of a team delivering An Post Services in a role which incorporates Customer Services, Retail Sales and Financial Services.
Clerks have a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Saturday attendance liability spread over a 5 day week, to attend as required at Company post offices within the Dublin area. Our Dublin branch offices include: Andrew Street, Blanchardstown Town Centre, Dun Laoghaire, GPO, Phibsborough, Rathmines and The Square Tallaght.
The Person
Ideally the successful candidates will have:
- excellent customer services skills and be committed to delivering a high standard of service quality
- sales focus and a full understanding of the importance of customers to our business
- knowledge of products and services available in An Post Retail outlets
- a flexible attitude and approach to work, in attendance patterns work location
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as part of a team
- good pc skills
- previous cash handing experience and the ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy and care in handling cash, stock and balancing accounts etc.

Rate of Pay €509.46 per week.
