National Postal Hub

Step 1:

Make your order on the retailer’s website
  • Your order will then be sent to An Post’s processing facility

Step 2:

Receive text/email from An Post when your item arrives at our National Hub.
  • At this stage your item is in our processing facility (National Hub) and is being prepared to be delivered to you (cannot be collected from here)
  • You can track your item through the link provided in the text/email
  • You may now have the option to make alternative delivery arrangements through our parcel management website – if the link is in the email/text
  • You can choose to have your item delivered to a Safe Place, Collection Point, Neighbour, or Alternative Address, or for an Alternative Day
  • If you would not like to make any changes to your delivery, do not select an option and it will be delivered as requested when you made  your purchase

Step 3:

You will get an email when your item is out for delivery – coming from your local DSU
  • This may have an ETA and tracking option

Step 4:

  • If you miss your delivery, it will be available for collection at your local sorting office and a Missed Delivery slip will be left at your address to advise you where to collect your item
  • You can collect your item at your local sorting office

Step 5:

Your item will be delivered to you
  • You may receive a confirmation email to confirm that your item has been delivered to your chosen delivery point
